Gree is a senior commander in the Grand Army of the Republic. Possessing a keen interest in alien species and cultures, the commander chose to be known as "Gree", a reference to an obscure alien species which Gree found particularly interesting. For operations in lush environments, Gree is equipped with camouflaged Phase II armor.

This is a visual guide used for 501st costume approval, not a how-to for construction. Construction details are found at the costume's Detachment website. Measurements provided here are generalized, and not criteria for approval. All 501st costumes are proportionate to the wearer in terms of size, fit, and scale. During evaluation, both text and images (CRL and Reference) must be considered. When in doubt about a feature of a submitted costume, GMLs should post questions in the Legion forum's DL/GML peer review section.

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below. For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met. This Detachment defines additional, optional costuming details listed in blue and red. Please visit the Detachment website for more details on these options.

• Realistic Style ROTS Phase II Clone Helmet.
• Fan-made helmet.
• Some "name brand" helmets may be unacceptable.
• Green mirrored lens.
• Helmet mohawk on dome, ear columns, neckring, back center channel frame and back top circular detail are white or off-white. Protruding area behind each ear column at top is also white or off-white.
• Indented vertical rectangle on back with ribbed surface is black.
• Aerator tube base of helmet between aerator covering and ear column, and area behind ear column and going up to frame back center channel are primer grey.
• (9) Hunter green vertical hash marks on each side of primer grey area behind ear columns.
• Helmet has two types of camo.
• Hunter green camo with light tannish green.
• Tannish green camo with hunter green and brown.
• Helmet dome, front face, and front aerator coverings are chrome or polished metal with hunter green camo overlaid detail.
• Hunter green camo on aerator covering starts from top edge of vocoder indent and widens upward to align with outside edge of the center three teeth in frown.
• Hunter green camo along center edges of lens continue from outside edge of center three teeth in frown and continue in straight vertical alignment upwards.
• Hunter green camo on dome starts above black band and aligns with dark green camo on lens edge. Vertical alignment carries upward about 1 inch and then arcs outward around sides of the dome to connect with back corners of mohawk.
• Cheek indents and back indent behind ear columns are tannish green camo.
• Helmet has a black brow band, just above the lens, that extends around to the back of helmet.
• Grey indented helmet band around back of dome.
• Black aerators with metal grills are mounted inside the two indented front jaw tubes at base of helmet.
• Helmet frown is charcoal grey in color. Wire or plastic mesh is utilized inside the helmet to cover the open pieces of the frown.
• Ear caps are dark grey with black edging and detail.

• Neck seal is black in color with vertical ribbing or smooth in appearance.
• No logos or labels are visible.
• If the seal is not incorporated as part of the undersuit, a balaclava or other similar covering is acceptable.

• Black non-textured material, either one-piece or two-piece construction with no visible zippers or logos.

• Realistic Style Clone Shoulder Armor.
• Shoulders are tear drop in shape with all rounded edges.
• Shoulder Armor base color is chrome or polished metal with hunter green camo overlaid.
• Shoulders are tear drop in shape with all rounded edges.

• Realistic Style Clone Upper Arm Armor.
• Armor base color is chrome or polished metal with hunter green camo detail.
• Hunter green camo covers entire armor except for indented area on back that remains chrome or polished metal.
• Armor has a front hard line outside edge and inside rounded edge.
• Armor piece has a dimple on the lower area of the back of the arm.
• Armor is seamless.
• No visible traces of how the armor was assembled are shown.

• Realistic Style Clone Elbow Armor.
• Armor and straps are painted in tan camo with grey and brown.
• Elbow straps have a raised detail line at the top and bottom of the strap.
• Armor has two parallel dashed detail slots on each outside edge of elbow at the strap connection.
• Elbows are mirror images of each other with a notched area on the outside of the elbow above the detail marks.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Forearm Armor
• Armor is painted in light tan camo with brown and light pale green.
• Right forearm has a compad with 8 small buttons, (1) large main button, and (1) slightly smaller rectangular button closest to the elbow.
• Armor is seamless.
• No visible traces of how the armor was assembled are shown.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Hand Plates.
• Armor is painted in light tan camo with brown and light pale green.
• Hand plates have a top curving ridge that come to a point over the index or middle finger just past the main knuckle of the hand.
• Armor is weathered.

• Black over the wrist gloves made of leather, nylon, or other low pile fabrics.
• Gloves cover any exposed skin.
• Gloves do not show any labels or logos when the armor is worn.

• Realistic Style Clone Chest Armor.
• Chest has two types of camo.
• Hunter green camo with lighter green.
• Tan camo with gray and brown.
• Armor has hunter green camo pillar shape design pattern that runs up the center of chest. Shape is similar to “A” shape of 501st Trooper, but solid without the center cutouts of an “A” shape.
• Hunter green camo has an underlying chrome or polished metal base.
• Pillar design is narrowest at top with about 1 3/4 inch width and widens downward.
• Pillar design is about 3 1/2 inches wide at the elevated chest edge, and about 6 inches wide at bottom, just above top abdomen edge.
• Pillar design flares outward along bottom edge, creating about a 1/2 inch hunter green camo border on surface that runs along the abdomen edge of chest about 3 1/2 inches.
• Remainder of chest is tan camo with grey and brown. Heavy application of dark grey covers most of the tan camo areas.
• Chest and back plate should match together at the sides with no open gap.
• A seam line is present.
• Shoulder straps are slotted into the detail ridges of the top connection points.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic Clone Suspenders.
• (2) suspenders, with one over right shoulder and one over left shoulder.
• Each suspender connects to front belt box and caries over the shoulder to connect with the back belt box.
• Suspenders have shoulder strap cover pads.
• Detail frame strap connectors are attached on top of front and back belt and about 1/2 inch high.
• Frame detail are brownish grey camo with brown, and strap feeds into the frame detail.
• Suspenders have three base colors.
• Front suspender straps are light grey.
• Suspender covers on shoulders are tan camo with grey and brown.
• Back suspenders are brownish grey and brown camo.
• An upside down dark grey or black trapezoid buckle is on the right suspender.
• Suspenders are weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Back Armor with Detonator.
• Armor and Detonator are tan camo with grey and brown.
• No back plate detail is required because it is covered by the Radio Pack.
• Thermal detonator is centered on lower back.
• Detonator is tan camo with brown and grey.
• Seven buttons on left side are white.
• End cap detail has center knob that is white.
• Detonator is connected by two protruding brackets.
• Back and chest armor match together at the sides with no open gap.
• A seam line is present.
• Shoulder straps are slotted into the detail ridges of the top connection points.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Radio Pack.
• Radio pack is tan camo with brown and grey.
• Radio pack covers back detail box.
• Radio detail on back surface is white.
• Flat horizontal rectangle plate is located in center back plate of radio.
• Horizontal rod is located below flat plate, and extends from around left side of radio and across back ending in alignment with right edge of flat plate above.
• Bottom row detail has slender rectangle flat plate on left and aligned horizontally with 3 circle knobs on right.
• Top cover has two detail buttons on left side and a detail knob and one square button on right.
• Two connecting rectangle panels extend from back of radio at top and sit flush with back armor box surface.
• Metal or silver colored antenna extends up from top left of radio and has a black base connector.
• Round dials are centered on each side of radio and aligned with flat horizontal plate on back.

• Realistic Style Abdomen Armor.
• Armor is tan camo with brown and grey.
• Eight 1/4" diameter holes, with four holes inside each indented channel of the abdomen.
• Abdomen section wraps around the wearers body and is sealed at sides or at back.
• Abdomen is completely contained under the chest and back armor.
• Armor aligns with codpiece with the seam line hidden by the belt.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Cod and Posterior Armor.
• Codpiece and Posterior armor connect at the hips.
• Hip connection should have the appearance of a button greeblie, and the correct detailed shape at the connection point.
• Armor is covered in two different camo tones.
• Front of Codpiece and back of Posterior are light tan camo with brown and light pale green.
• Sides of Codpiece and Posterior are hunter green camo with light tannish green.
• Cod light tan camo pattern angles inward along the sides then upwards at a slight inward angle.
• Cod hunter green camo along sides continues around back on Posterior and ends at back protruding plate.
• Chrome or polished metal side connectors and edge where Cod and Posterior armor connect on hips.
• Armor is weathered.

• Belt, boxes and detonator are tan camo with brown and grey.
• Belt front, between front boxes, has three vertical rectangle indents which are spaced apart by two protruding rectangle areas.
• The rest of the belt is flat surfaced with raised edging on top and bottom that run along the rest of the belt.
• Eight Belt Boxes are attached to Belt, with four on each side.
• The two largest Boxes are in front with angled top surface that is higher toward the center.
• The smallest boxes are located behind the front boxes, about 1/8 inch apart and have an angled end on top.
• The medium sized matching boxes, with flat top cover, are about 1/8 inch from smallest boxes.
• Left rear box is spaced closer to detonator and has two square buttons in the top left corner, and two dashed indented detail marks on bottom right.
• Right rear box is spaced closer to detonator and has a bar with two small cylinders centered, and two dashed indented detail marks on bottom left.
• A detonator is centered and attached to back of Belt.
• Detonator tube is about 2 1/4 inch diameter with wider detailed end caps.
• Seven horizontally aligned square buttons are on left side of tube, facing backwards.
• Suspender belt box frame connector detail is on top of front two and back two belt boxes.
• Belt, Boxes and Detonator are weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Thigh Armor.
• Armor is light tan camo with brown and light pale green.
• Left thigh has a narrow elongated vertical pouch that is white.
• Pouch has angled surface with top flap and centered button detail.
• Pouch is held in place with a 2 inch wide strap that is painted tan camo with brown and grey.
• Thigh Armor has a flat triangle area above the knee which transitions to a ridge line that runs up the front of the thigh to the top edge.
• Rear of armor has an indented area.
• Left thigh has a narrow elongated vertical pouch that is white.
• Pouch has angled surface with top flap and centered button detail.
• Pouch is held in place with a 2 inch tan camo with brown and grey strap.
• Armor is seamless.
• No visible traces of how the armor was assembled are shown.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic style knee armor.
• Knee armor and side clips are light tan camo with brown and light pale green.
• Straps are brownish grey with brown camo.
• Knees have a protruding flat area in front oriented towards the top of Knee.
• Knees bend around the front and connect to white detail clips that connect the strap on each side.
• Strap is about 2 inches wide and wraps around back of leg.
• Armor is weathered.

• Realistic Style Clone Lower Leg Armor.
• Armor is panted matte or semi-gloss black.
• Back stripe is aligned with raised point on outside top edge of armor.
• Both stripes run full length of armor from top to bottom edge.
• Stripes align with stripes on the thigh armor.
• Front of lower leg has a flat triangular detail at the top which transitions to a ridge line that travels down the front of the armor to the ankle.
• Back of lower leg armor features arched indentation, just under the calf, that follows down to the ankle.
• Bottom of this indentation features a smaller arch detail at the heel.
• Outside of the calf is closed.
• Calf can have an access area on the inside of the leg.
• Calves are seamless and have a trap door access through the indent in the rear of the lower leg.
• Armor is weathered with shades of grey.

• Realistic Style Clone Boots.
• Boots are black with strap and sole that is brownish grey and brown camo, and has white detail discs.
• Boots are ankle high or tall enough to cover the ankle and eliminate any black undersuit visible at the ankle.
• Boots are lace-less.
• The boots have armor detail to include a natural seam at the toe and a strap that goes over the top of the foot with two protruding disks at each side of the strap.
• There are no markings or labels from the shoe makers.
• Boot soles are flat.
• Boots are weathered.

Optional Accessories

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

• Realistic Clone Style DC-15S Blaster.
• Blaster may be scratch built out of plastic, wood, metal or cast in resin.
• Blaster has realistic Episode II or Episode III details:
• Wire frame sight.
• Folding stock.
• Twelve radiator fins evenly spaced along the length of barrel.
• Igniter detail knobs.
• Charge magazine clip on right side.
• Total length is approximately 26 inches (66 cm).
• Because of the scale, the Hasbro version is incorrect.

• Realistic Clone Style DC-15A Blaster Rifle.
• Blaster rifle is scratch built out of plastic, wood, metal or cast in resin.
• Blaster has realistic Episode II or Episode III details:
• Flip up sight in down position.
• Ten radiator fins are evenly spaced along the length of the barrel.
• Power setting adjuster detail lever.
• Sniper Scope attached under rifle in storage position.
• Charge magazine clip on left side.
• Igniter detail knobs.
• Total length is approximately 55 inches (139.7 cm).
• Because of the scale, the Hasbro version is not allowed.

• Realistic Style Episode III Clone Binoculars.
• Binoculars are white with dark green details.
• Binoculars are horizontally flat shaped with a single horizon lens viewer.
• Viewer has dark grey section where the user's eyes would go, and on the opposite end a rust colored detail section.
• Green detail pattern creates a border edge along top of lens viewer with two spaces at top center.
• Another green angled pattern covers the top surface.
• Top surface has a round dial, and indented rectangle area with a forward facing small stubbed antenna.
• Rounded sides have inset yellow-gold colored ribbed tube handle grips.
• Blue outward facing lens, and fluorescent green lens on viewers side.
• Red dot light located on upper left corner of front facing surface.

• Realistic Style Episode III Clone Holodisk Communicator with blue translucent Emperor Palpatine.
• Communicator has a black base with metallic top cover detail.
• Communicator is disc shaped with a smaller diameter flat disc centered on top.
• Three triangle pointer details evenly spaced along top outside edge that point to center.
