Before the Jedi can leave Mortis, the Son takes Ahsoka captive in an attempt to entice Anakin into joining him to use their combined strength to overpower his Father and Sister. To this end, the Son casts Ahsoka under the spell of the dark side.

This is a visual guide used for 501st costume approval, not a how-to for construction. Construction details are found at the costume's Detachment website. Measurements provided here are generalized, and not criteria for approval. All 501st costumes are proportionate to the wearer in terms of size, fit, and scale. During evaluation, both text and images (CRL and Reference) must be considered. When in doubt about a feature of a submitted costume, GMLs should post questions in the Legion forum's DL/GML peer review section.

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below. For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

• The headpiece is made from silicone or latex and is off-white with blue-grey bands.
• Covered in small veins.

• Seven triangular teeth are worn around the edges of the montrals, where the montral meets the skin.
• The teeth are of a silvery-gold color.
• The middle tooth is bigger and points toward the nose.

• A silvery-gold chain made of diamond shaped and round beads attached to the middle akul teeth.
• The chain splits in two between the two ‘horns’ of the montral.
• The chain attaches under the back lekku.
• There is a padawan braid attached to the right side of the chain at the back.
• The braid hangs just below the shoulder.
• The braid is made of round beads spaced evenly.
• The braid ends with two pyramid-shaped beads: a yellow one at the top and a red one at the bottom with a small blue circular bead in the middle.

• All areas of exposed skin are painted orange with darker cracked veins.
• This includes but is not limited to: The arms, the thighs through the diamond openings.
• The face markings are white, the coloring is opaque and even.
• Eyebrows are fully concealed.
• The face markings consist of:
• Two lines covering the eyebrows, continuing on the forehead in a diamond design.
• Two small diamonds, right over the eyebrows.
• Two pointed design on the cheeks.
• Dark burgundy or maroon lipstick.
• The contour of the eyes is dark in color.

• Gold choker with a gold diamond shaped pendant.
• The choker is worn over the high collar of the tunic.

• The tunic is form fitting and made of a dark red stretch fabric.
• Sleeveless and has a high collar.
• A front teardrop-shaped opening situated right under the collarbones.
• An opening at the back. It starts at the neck and ends just above the belts. It is as wide as the shoulder blades.

• Two dark red bracers made of leather or leather like material that match the color of the tunic.
• They have signs of wear and weathering.
• The bracers cover the forearm, but do not extend past the elbow.
• There are three gold H-shaped buckles on each bracer.
• There is a dark gray triangular piece of fabric that points towards the elbow. It does not go past the elbow.
• There is a comlink on the left bracer.
• Comlink is black with a silver-gold circle.

• Fingerless gloves made in the same fabric as the dress.
• The gloves are worn under the bracers.

• The arm bands are made of the same material as the dress.
• There is four arm bands on each bicep.
• The arm bands have triangular designs cutout.
• The two middle bands have two triangular cutouts.
• The bands are evenly spaced on the bicep.

• There are two dark grey cuffs worn over the bracers, one on each side.
• The cuffs have a weathered look.
• The cuffs have a broken attachment.

• Belts are made of leather or leather like material.
• Belts are a cognac brown color.
• The belts form a ‘X’ shape at the front and the back.
• The higher belts sit at the hips while the lower belts hang near the hip joints.
• The buckle is a silver elongated hexagon.
• The buckle is worn at the front where the two belts meet.
• The buckle must be made of metal or have a metallic appearance.
• There are two covertec saber clips worn on the bottom belts.
• Two silver food capsule worn on the top belts.
• A small pouch at the back where the two belts meet and is made of the same material as the belts.

• The tabard is an elongated pentagon hanging from the belt buckle and is light purple or pink colored.
• The designs are dark purple.
• Made from a tooled leather or leather like material.

• The leggings are dark gray and made of a stretch fabric.
• The leggings have six diamond-shaped openings at the side of each leg.
• The first diamond is twice as large as the others.
• It is followed by five smaller diamonds.
• Diamonds can be outlined by a lighter grey bias tape/fabric.

• The boot spats are form fitting and made of leather or leather like material that matches the bracers.
• There are five gold H-shaped buckles on the outside of each leg.
• The spats extend right below the kneecap.
• The spats show signs of wear and weathering.

• The boots are made of leather or leather like material.
• The boots have heels of a half inch or less.
• Dark Red color that match the dress and the boots spats.
• There are no visible zippers or laces.

Optional Accessories

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

• There is a main and smaller (shoto) saber.
• If the lightsabers have blades, the blades are green (main) and lime (shoto) in color.
• Saber can be attached to the belts using convertec clips.

• The contact lenses are described as a fiery yellow transitioning into a brilliant red.
• This style of contact lens may be worn.
• While strongly recommended and an integral part of this character, the contact lens requirement will be waived for 501st acceptance, if the applicant cannot wear contact lenses for health related reasons.
• All persons utilizing contact lenses are encouraged to first see their optometrist for a fitting.

• The dagger is a dark grey color with blueish tones.
• The dagger has a stone-like texture.
