A male Tognath mercenary pilot who flew alongside his eggmate, Edrio. He was part of Saw Gerrera’s Rebel cell. After the Battle of Yavin Benthic was then approached by the Rebel Alliance's representatives; Princess Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, and Captain Han Solo. At first, Benthic thought they should kill them.

This is a visual guide used for 501st costume approval, not a how-to for construction. Construction details are found at the costume's Detachment website. Measurements provided here are are generalized, and not criteria for approval. All 501st costumes are proportionate to the wearer in terms of size, fit, and scale. During evaluation, both text and images (CRL and Reference) must be considered. When in doubt about a feature of a submitted costume, GMLs should post questions in the Legion forum's DL/GML peer review section.

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below. For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met.

• Simulated bone skull cap including two eye sockets.
• On the center of the forehead is a gloss translucent inset piece affixed with metal clips.
• An iron-colored ‘spark plug’ greeblie protrudes from the top back of skull.
• There is an iron-colored °disc break’ greeblie centered on the back of the head. Its upper edge is set-in under the back arch of the skull cap.
• The inset eyes are round, reflective metal or simulated metal and are connected at three points.
• There is a gas-mask style face plate, blue grey in color markings and weathered with six vents and four circular ports.
• The circular ear details include antennae and greeblie details.
• Markings and moderate weathering.

• Vertical strips of suede or suede-cloth are top stitched into a form fitting balaclava to conceal the wearer’s skin and hair completely.
• The suede has a rough pilled texture and is mid-dark tone tan in color.
• Padded ‘ear muff’ details sit over the ears and cradle the circular ear greeblies.

• The tubes taper from the face mask approximately ¾ inches.
• The tubes are weathered silver metal with black bushings.

• A weathered tan mesh scarf must be present.
• Scarf mesh squares are no larger than 1/4 inches.

• The tunic is composed of five strips of long-sleeve rip stop nylon with raised piping.
• Visible front piping.
• Clear vacuformed shoulder bells with accurate etching and coloring affix with hex bolts to the tunic.
• Weathered in motor oil type breakdown, heaviest on the front apron.

• Gasket greeblie present on upper right chest that is raw iron in color.

• Approximately 3 inch dark brown leather belt
• 2 Spanish style front pouches with no visible closures.
• 2 non-centered buckles and rivet detail are present.
• 2 iron-colored flare greeblies are fixed with leather straps.
• Approximately 1 inch brown leather straps swag over each hip from front to back.

• A dark brown leather sporin hangs from front of the belt.
• 2 buckles and details must be visible.
• Sporin is heavily-weathered in a gloss finish.

• Full length brown pants that appear to be being insulated.
• 3 approximately 2½ inch wide stacked horizontal pads run across each knee from inseam to side seam.
• 15–20 rows of horizontal piping runs across the inside of the knee from inseam to side seam.
• Pants are worn tucked into boots.
• Pants are distressed and dirty, heavily weathered to a worn sheen like finish.

• The gloves are dark brown / black leather or cloth and are fitted.
• Simulated carved-bone covers the back of of the hand and tops of finger joints.
• Each hand has one male metal popper greeblie visible.
• Heavily weathered.

• The boots are above ankle-height, dark brown leather.
• Open buckles and straps are visible.
• Heavily weathered.

• Made of distressed A-line collarless leather hide or simulated long sleeve coat.
• Blue grey in color.
• Split from hem to waist.
• There are no snaps, zippers, pockets, top stitching or any other detail visible.
• Heavily weathered.
• Clear vacuformed shoulder bells affix with hex bolts to the coat.

• M75 Swedish military hiking frame and shoulder staps painted or dyed black.
• 5 close-ended cylinders with caps.
• Top cylinder is weathered black/dark grey with an approximately 1 inch bright mango-colored stripe.
• The second and third down cylinders are weathered black/dark grey with two approximately 1 inch crimson stripes.
• 2nd cylinder is a purple-red and the 3rd cylinder is red.
• The fourth from the bottom cylinder is weathered black/dark grey no other markings.
• The bottom cylinder is a weathered mustard color.
• Approximately 1 inch olive drab canvas strapping holds the cylinders in place with two buckles that hang over the second cylinder from the top.
• There is a one inch green canvas strip on the center of the top cylinder with a D-ring.
• A small canvas bag resembling a gas mask or small canteen bag hangs in the middle of the pack.
• The bag has a side pocket with triangle cover-tabs and a brass D-ring on each side with at least 4 visible brass eyelets along the bag opening.
• A weathered red circle with two vertical white lines can be seen on the bag.
• There is a metallic colored smoke grenade with an olive green stripe affixed to the left shoulder.

Optional Accessories

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

• The rifle is a long single barrel blaster.
• The butt is V-shaped and contains a circular carving.
• There are leather wrappings around the stock.
• A brown leather strap is attached.
