The public face of the Crimson Dawn crime syndicate, Dryden Vos is a powerful and manipulative individual, but he is also known for his ruthlessness and luxurious lifestyle, willing to remove any one who stands in his way. Vos is obsessed with wealth and aesthetic — as he is obsessed with being obeyed and in control.

This is a visual guide used for 501st costume approval, not a how-to for construction. Construction details are found at the costume's Detachment website. Measurements provided here are are generalized, and not criteria for approval. All 501st costumes are proportionate to the wearer in terms of size, fit, and scale. During evaluation, both text and images (CRL and Reference) must be considered. When in doubt about a feature of a submitted costume, GMLs should post questions in the Legion forum's DL/GML peer review section.

Required Costume Components

The following costume components are present and appear as described below. For 501st membership only the requirements in black need to be met. This Detachment defines additional, optional costuming details listed in blue and red. Please visit the Detachment website for more details on these options.

• Hair is sandy blonde and the face is clean shaven.
• Hair may be achieved by the costumer’s hair, or a quality styled wig.
• A small metal greeblie is attached to the costumer’s head a the hairline on the left side.
• Intricate striations run parallel down the face, which may be achieved through cosmetics or prosthetic appliance.

• Made of grey material, the collar is stiff and encircles the costumer's neck up to the jaw.
• The collar has a vertical panel that runs the length of the collar.
• There is a square gold greeblie at the base of the collar.
• No fastening is visible.

• A plain grey shirt.
• The shirt is only visible at the chest, under the collar and vest, and can be worn as a bib, or panel.

• The vest is made out of a dark grey fabric with a pinstripe.
• The vest wraps left side, over the right.
• The pinstripe pattern is parallel with the cut of the vest.

• A Crimson Dawn sigil ring is own on the middle finger of the right hand.
• The ring is gold in color, with the outside and inlay of the Crimson Dawn sigil in red. The ring has two voids on each side of the finger-band.
• A wide silver cuff is worn on the right wrist. The cuff has a wide, square gap on the face of it.
• The cuff is made from metal, or may appear to be made of metal.

• A dark grey jacket with cloak is worn. The body of the jacket is made with a matte fabric, and the cloak is made from a fabric with a slight sheen to it.
• The Jacket and Cloak may be fixed, or two separate components. If the cloak is separate, there is no discernible connections or attachments.
• The jacket is tailored to the wearer.
• There is an a-line panel that extends from the costumer’s waist to the bottom of the jacket, and is made from the same fabric as the jacket and cut on the bias (so light reflects differently). This panel is horizontal, forming a triangle shape.

• Dark grey, tailored slim fit pants are worn with a pinstripe fabric.
• The pants have an off center fly, and the fastening is hidden.
• The pants can have pockets.
• The pants end on the top of the boots.

• A tall leather, or leather-like belt is worn over the shirt.
• The belt has no visible fastening.
• The belt has two greeblies attached at the front.
• The top greebie is long and textured, with a round pendant on the right hand side. The pendant is embossed to feature a landscape with three circles.
• The bottom greebie is shorter and wider than the top, and features a smaller pendant on the right hand side. The pendant is embossed with three ridges, and two squares in the center. This greeblie also has a small panel, with a circle and four ridges.

• A sash is worn over the vest, wrapping over the left shoulder to the right hip.
• The sash is made from braided black cord.
• The sash closes with a round slide that has a hole in the center.

• Plain leather boots are worn with no visible fastenings.
• The soles of the boot are thick.

Optional Accessories

Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appear as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

• A white undershirt.
• The shirt has a no collar.
• There are no visible buttons or fastenings.

• The twin bladed Kyuzo petars have a bronze knuckle guard.
• Each blade curves opposite to the other.
• Edges may glow red.

• The thumb on the right hand has a long claw-like nail.

The costumer has blue eyes.

• Contact lenses may be worn to achieve this. Before using contact lenses, please consult an eye specialist.
